Dr. B. Curtis Hamm

Dr. B. Curtis Hamm received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas and is Professor Emeritus of the Spears School of Business and Consultant to the OSU Foundation. He began his international career by taking high school and college students to countries such as Norway, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France and Italy. He taught for Semester at Sea on one of their round-the-world voyages. Subsequently, he taught graduate seminars in countries such as Russia, Singapore, China, Malaysia and England. He was selected as a Fellow by various academic institutions such as: The American Graduate School of Business, The University of Pittsburgh, The University of Missouri and Oklahoma State University. He served as a Fulbright Professor in China and a USAID professor at the University of Jordan where he helped begin their MBA programs. He additionally served as consultant to various universities in Argentina and the Czech Republic. He was the first Rotary Fellow to Jordan.

Dr. Hamm has served as a consultant to numerous organizations with international markets such as PepsiCo and Reynolds Aluminum. He has published numerous academic and trade articles on international subjects, and his book, “The Art of Partnering” has been translated into Russian and articles such as “The Five Dragons of Asia” have received acclaim. Because of his great heart for international students, he was selected for the National International Students Association Award. His other awards include induction into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame, a Distinguished OSU Alumni Award and Yearbook Faculty Member of the Year. His mentorship of Blue Key members led him to be selected as the National Faculty Advisor of the Year.

Bob adopted a young Chinese boy while teaching in Zhongshan University. Kevin Hamm is a graduate of OSU in International Business and is the General Manager of a corporation in China. Kevin is married to a native of Taiwan.
