Professor Craig Edwards receives International Excellence Faculty Award
Dr. Craig Edwards, professor in OSU’s Department of Agricultural Education, Communications, Leadership, has been awarded the 2016-2017 International Education Faculty Excellence Award in recognition of his extensive international experience and his work with broadening the global impact of Oklahoma State University. The annual award, which includes a $1000 research stipend, signifies special recognition awarded by the School of Global Studies and Partnerships to faculty members who have distinguished themselves through excellence in international teaching, research, and/or outreach programs and activities.
This is the 13th anniversary of this award, which began in the 2004-2005 school year. Oklahoma State University has a long history of global interaction, and this activity has contributed greatly to the university’s legacy and mission in research, teaching, and extension.
The award process included a nomination from Dr. Edward’s home college and a voting process by the School of Global Studies and Partnerships Executive Committee who represent academic units across OSU. The award was presented to Dr. Edwards at the University Awards Convocation on Wednesday, December 6 in the Conoco Philips Alumni Center on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The award was presented by Dr. Randy Kluver, Dean of the School of Global Studies and Partnerships.
